Pricing

Technology Management can be approached in three ways: proactive, reactive, and a hybrid of the two.

A proactive approach generally entrusts us to handle your needs for a flat monthly fee. This enables consistency in your financial planning, allows us to prevent disasters before they occur, and aligns our incentives — if you have downtime, we end up paying for it dearly, so it is in both our interests to keep everything running smoothly. This sort of arrangement generally starts at around $50 per month per desk. An annual commitment is required.

A reactive approach usually costs a great deal more over the long term, because everything is handled in an emergency fashion. Still, for young entrepreneurs (like ourselves), we understand the need to defer costs and fly by the seat of the pants. Our general pay-as-you-go hourly rate is $150 hourly. Some travel expenses may apply for onsite services outside of the Oakland/San Francisco metropolitan area.

Our hybrid approach entails structuring our services on a prepaid pay-as-you-go basis. Services are generally provided on an as-needed basis only (not proactively), but the hourly rate is discounted accordingly. Unused services are rolled over.
